This might sound a little OA, but according to US brow experts, we're missing an essential step in our eyebrow care routine. Byrdie spoke to the people at Blink Brow Bar and found out that exfoliating the brows once a week will help our kilay grow.
Quite an arch-raising insight, right? Blink Brow Bar experts explained that by removing layers of dead skin, we can prevent ingrown hairs and have more ~*conditioned*~ follicles. In case you aren’t aware yet, well-nourished eyebrow strands grow faster and appear shinier and thicker.
We think their recommendation makes perfect sense: There are some cases when we can get dandruff on our arches, after all. This happens when the area lacks moisture or when there is too much residue from beauty products that irritate the skin. That said, exfoliating the brow area reduces the chances of these issues.
To get you started, here are some products we recommend to slough off layers of dead skin:
Tony Moly Peeling Me Soothing Peeling Gel, P478, SM Megamall
Nature Republic Real Nature Lemon Peeling Gel Wash, P395, Festival Mall
Etude House Berry Aha! Bright Peel Mild Gel, P598, SM Megamall
