Sleeping masks are great if you want to give your skin some major pampering. Now you can do the same for your hair! Since it's just a matter of time before the trend of "hair sleeping masks" explodes, read below for what you need to know about these Korean beauty-inspired products:

1. They work for all hair types

Yes, even for chemically-processed tresses! You can use hair masks to repair damage, prolong your color (if dyed), and prevent strands from becoming buhaghag

2. They're easy to use

After you towel-dry your hair post-shower, rub the cream all over your locks (Avoid the scalp!), seal everything in with shower cap, then go to bed. When you wake up, just rinse it off and say hello to your ~soft and healthy mane~!

3. Different "flavors" target various hair issues

While hair sleeping masks will work for all hair types, some of them target specific issues such as boosting the radiance of your tresses, preventing split ends from occurring, and providing moisture and nourishment.

4. They're great for traveling

Just like a sheet mask, they're typically individually packaged and contain both the cream mask and the shower cap needed—so you can just throw everything once you're done using it!

5. There's a hack for it

Since their availability in the Philippines is still limited, here's a hack you can try at home: Shampoo and condition your hair, and once it's dry, rub in your favorite hair treatment. But instead of washing it out again, Stylecaster suggested to cover it with a shower cap, secure it in place, and sleep. When you get up in the morning, wash it out, and voilà!
