Caitlyn Jenner has announced that she will be releasing a limited edition lipstick shade in collaboration with MAC Cosmetics.
According to the MAC website, the shade is called Finally Free and will be available online on April 7, 2016. “I wanted a name that I use and which represents the community. This is who I am: Finally Free,” she said in an interview with the brand. All sales of the lipstick will go to the MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative to support and improve transgender lives.
Photos of the lipstick quickly spread through Instagram, and we have to say, we’re pretty impressed with the shade:
Caitlyn explains that she chose this particular rosy nude color because she wanted to create one that was “universal, suited more people, and was an everyday lipstick.” She stayed away from the usual glamourous, look-at-me lipsticks that we often see from the Viva Glam line of the brand. “To be honest, I want people to use it every day so they have to buy more. I want to raise a lot of money. It’s very simple,” she added.
