Beauty, Intrigue, And Cosmetic Surgery In TV5's New Primetime Drama

Some women have, at one point in their lives, considered going under the knife to improve their looks--some actually went ahead and did it. And, you've got to admit: it's fodder for gossip, right? Who's done it, who didn't? Who did the job? It's the underlying drama in this hidden desire to surgically change one's features that inspired the newest drama now making waves in local primetime TV, TV5's
Glamorosa.

The intriguing show stars A-listers Alice Dixson and Lorna Tolentino, who play rival cosmetic surgeons, not just in their field but for the love of a charming hoodlum portrayed by Zoren Legaspi.

"This is the heart of the story of Glamorosa: on the outside you see beauty and competition, but [underneath] it's about love, family, and forgiveness," director Eric Quizon said at the glamorous press conference for the show held at the Meralco Lighthouse in Ortigas.

You'll also see two familiar hotties in the cast: Victor Silayan (or Jome to Cosmo chicks!) and Martin Escudero (the endearing lead star of the indie comedy flick Zombadings: Patayin Sa Shokot Si Remington--yes, he played Remington!). The cast also includes Ritz Azul, Tonton Gutierrez, Lotlot De Leon, Jenny Miller, Gloria Diaz, and Celeste Legaspi, among several others.
