The entertainment industry is a fickle one. Like Heidi Klum says on Project Runway, "one day you're in, the next day, you're out." She might be talking about fashion, but she's definitely talking about showbiz, too. You could be the biggest star in the world this week, and the next week, you could be a has-been who peaked at 25. One wrong move and your career could go up in flames.

One bad performance or one bad role and you could be casually dismissed by really important directors for the rest of your life. Say one wrong thing and you could go from showbiz sweetheart to public enemy number one.

That's why stars and celebrities are so careful about how they conduct their careers. That's why so few of them take major risks—they like the way things are. They don't want it to change. They don't take chances so that things don't go wrong.
