- If you thought Miley Cyrus was controversial, wait 'til you hear about her little sister Noah. Sources say that the 9-year-old and her BFF Emily Grace are supposedly launching a lingerie line for children, but the clothes are mostly leotard-and-tutu sets in bright prints. Except Noah and Emily like to wear them...with fishnets.
- It must have taken a lot of guts to dump the Queen of Pop, but Brazilian underwear model Jesus Luz has done it—he broke up with Madonna after a year! Apparently the 51-year-old Material Girl and her 23-year-old ex-beau (read: a 28-year age gap) ran out of things to talk about.
- Bye bye, Brad Pitt! Jennifer Aniston banished her ex-husband's memory from the Beverly Hills home they used to share by renovating it into the ultimate bachelorette mansion. She turned their his-and-hers bathrooms into a hers-and-hers-alone area, converting what used to be Brad's space into a spa bath with a soaking tub.
- Ashton Kutcher hates V-Day (which is funny because he's one of the stars of Valentine's Day), but not because he doesn't like love. On the contrary, Demi Moore's hubby hates the Hallmark holiday because he thinks love should be celebrated every day. How sweet!
- Katy Perry's funnyman fiance Russell Brand says he wants everybody to be naked at their wedding. He's kidding, of course! But wouldn't that be a sight? Something he isn't joking about: how much he loves Katy. "She's amazing. She's a good person to spend time with and it's changed me," he says.
- Reports of Gary Valenciano's death have been greatly exaggerated. Don't believe the texts that have been circulating; Mr. Pure Energy is alive and kicking. The guests who saw him perform at Rica Peralejo's wedding in Kawayan Cove can attest to that.
- Marian Rivera gets sweaty with Dingdong Dantes! The young actress ran 5 kilometers for her handsome boyfriend's charity. She said that it was her first time to run, and that she only planned to do 3km, but pushed herself to go the rest of the way to support Dingdong's Yes Pinoy Foundation.
- Remember that song "We Are The World"? The first time it was recorded by stars like Michael Jackson, Bob Dylan, and Bruce Springsteen, proceeds went to help starving people in Africa. Hollywood is doing it again, with artists like Usher, Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Pink, the Jonas Brothers, and over 70 other superstars singing to raise money for relief in Haiti. Talk about using talent for a good cause!
- Hollywood is abuzz with excitement because Oscar nominations are out! Too many major nominees to mention (Sandra Bullock, Penelope Cruz, George Clooney, Colin Firth, Matt Damon, Meryl Streep, and of course, Avatar, to name a few), but check them out on the Academy's official website. It's going to be an exciting awards season for sure!
