Star-Studded Local And Hollywood Must-See Films This December

December is when the Philippine movie scene really shines. Cinephiles eagerly anticipate the Christmas Day opening of the annual Metro Manila Film Festival, now on its 37th year, to see the newest picks our local film industry has to offer. There seven films slated for the fest, with genres that include action, comedy, drama, horror, and fantasy. They all have ensemble casts composed of film veterans and hot, young actors.
But, there are also a few big Hollywood productions to look forward to before the MMFF. Epic action films and a light-hearted Christmas animation are on the lineup, and there's one much-awaited romantic comedy starring an ensemble cast made of your fave stars, which is sure to draw you into the cinema with your barkada.
