It seems Cosmo Centerfold Gerald Anderson is not the only actor who displayed a brave, golden heart in the face of typhoon Ondoy’s devastation.

PEP.ph reported that Jericho Rosales used his surfboard to paddle through the flooded streets of a village in Marikina City to help people who were stranded in the wake of the calamity, particularly a boy, an old lady, and even a dog. A known surfing enthusiast, Echo was also praised by Facebook users for his unique brand of heroism, as his photos spread quickly throughout the social networking site.

Raymart Santiago also reportedly used a jet ski to help save people affected by the calamity.

  18. when I first saw this article I was surprised when Echo did that because we knew it was really dangerous that time. But i think echo has a big heart and he was able to risk his own life to help other people. Kudos to Echo.
