New TV Beauty To Watch For: Louise Delos Reyes

The young actress included in this year's list of 100 most beautiful local stars is out to prove that she's not just another pretty face.

At only 17, Louise delos Reyes has much to be proud of. She's a hardworking scholar who gives equal priority to her education and showbiz career. She's an up-and-coming actress who already landed a lead role in a TV series (Alakdana, with this month's Cosmo Man on Fire, Paulo Avelino), and she's been a beauty pageant title holder since she was 14. And now, she's been included in a list of 100 Most Beautiful Stars in the country, under "The New Breed" category.

YES! Magazine held the press conference for their annual special at the Crowne Plaza, where we got the chance to speak briefly with the young actress on what she herself finds beautiful. Read on for what Louise had to say.

What are your top three beauty tips?

Drink a lot of water, [get] eight hours of sleep, and wash your face every night.

What do you do to stay fit?

I don't regularly go to the gym. I just maintain my intake of carbs, 'yun lang.

Who is the most beautiful person in your life?

My mom. I think she's very beautiful in her own way. And ako kasi, I won't rely mainly on looks. [Real beauty is] on the inside.

What qualities do you think make a person beautiful?

Siguro if maganda 'yung ugali niya and maganda 'yung pakikitungo niya sa tao, magaling siyang makisama sa tao. Para sa akin, mas nagiging malakas 'yung dating ng isang tao kapag magaling siyang magsalita.

What has been the most beautiful moment in your life?

To be included in YES!'s 100 Most Beautiful Stars! (Laughs.)
