Rumor has it that one of GMA-7’s biggest stars is signing with ABS-CBN for a soap starring Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu.

Last week was a busy one, as far as projects are concerned, for the only active action superstar in Philippine movies today.
Last Tuesday, Robin Padilla signed up with Jag as the denim brand’s newest endorser, joining Marian Rivera and Will Devaughn. Then on Thursday, he was launched as the first celebrity endorser of Trust Condoms. In between his endorsement deals are production meetings for his upcoming Star Cinema movie with Toni Gonzaga and preparations for his third trip to Libya.
This is just about all the projects he can handle for now, which puts no truth to the rumor that he recently signed with ABS-CBN and even appeared in the story conference for their new soap starring Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, and Kris Aquino.
Robin explained that his frequent visit to the ABS-CBN compound only has to do with his movie, and not because he'll be doing a TV show. He stresses that he wants to do movies again, thus this is his priority now.
Will he remain a Kapuso? This is still a question left hanging.
So far, he has turned down a special part in the GMA-7 soap Darna due to his hectic schedule.
