Behind The Scenes: Bea Alonzo's January 2012 Cover Shoot

Bea Alonzo led us into 2012 with a splash of color as our fresh-faced cover girl for January. In the issue, she flaunts her sexy new bod' and spills the inside scoop on her newfound confidence, blooming career, and new boyfriend, Zanjoe Marudo. You've seen her gorgeous photos in her magazine feature, but now we're giving you an insider's look at the shoot.
Since this is Bea's fifth Cosmo cover shoot, she nailed every shot with ease. Editorial director Myrza Sison comments, "Bea's always been very professional. She knows her angles, she knows how to move, she knows how to harness her emotions to depict a certain mood...We love working with her!" You can tell from the photos and behind-the-scenes video that the whole team had a blast at Bea's shoot, which partly took place outdoors.
Photographer Xander Angeles has worked with Bea before and knows how to best capture her beauty, but even he was impressed by her performance at the shoot. "Ang saya! Ang saya niyang katrabaho," he tells us. "You'll see a new Bea, very sexy."
