WARNING: THIS IS SUPER NSFW!

According to an official press release, the film has been given a rating of R-18 by the MTRCB. The original US version of the film will be shown in Philippine theaters without cuts, blurs, and blacked-out parts.

The MTRCB justified its R-18 classification due to the following contents in the film:

  • Prolonged and realistic depiction of sexual activity and aberrational sexual behavior
  • Scenes involving bondage and dominance, sadism and masochism
  • Nudity (breast, butt and pubic hair exposure)
  • Strong and/or sexual language.

We bet you all still remember what went down when the first film was shown here (#FiftyShadesofBlur!) So #yay!

Fifty Shades Darker opens in the Philippines on Wednesday, February 8, 2017
