One thing you, college Cosmo chicks, are probably excited about as you welcome a new school year is college sports--thanks to the new University Athletic Association of the Philippines and National Collegiate Athletic Association seasons opening real soon.
But before any of these, there was one sports-related party that rocked Manila recently--the Adidas Originals Street Party held at The Venice Piazza in McKinley Hill. It had everything sporty and festive about it--from street-food kiosks and free-flowing drinks from Sober Club, to street dancers, street painters, skate boarders, and pro football jugglers! Even Darth Vader and his army of Star Troopers were there to join the fun!
Cosmo spotted not just athletic hunks and sports-loving cuties, but also local celebrities and sports personalities enjoying the night’s festivities with Manila party-goers. Among those we saw were event hosts and radio personalities Sam YG and Slick Rick of Magic 89.9's Boys' Night Out; former UAAP courtside reporter Lia Cruz; TV stars Karylle, Iza Calzado, Mark Bautista, and Mikel Campos; well-known lookers Isabelle Daza and Jon Avila; and basketball studs Larry Fonacier and Wesley Gonzales.
