Christian Bautista's Celeb Friends Flock To His Concert

Over a month after Valentine's Day, love is still in the air--at least for the people who flocked to the Music Museum to see hunky balladeer Christian Bautista perform. After the successful release of his latest music video, "Beautiful Girl," he now moves on to a much bigger venture–his solo concert.

ASAP XV Concert Series gave Christian's fans a chance to fall in love--the old school way. Christian invited a few of his friends from the music industry to share the stage with him in the show Christian Bautista: Romance Revisited, produced by ABS-CBN's ASAP Live. Stars like Karylle, Carmen Soo, Tippy Dos Santos, Sam Concepcion, and Acoustic Duo Rey and Kaye were there to sing with the pop icon.

Just last year, Christian recorded another successful album with Universal Records. His fifth, entitled Romance Revisited: The Love Songs Of Jose Mari Chan, includes Christian's own renditions of Jose Mari Chan's love songs, and some collaborations with Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez, Asia's Nightingale Lani Misalucha, Philippines' Pop Princess (and Cosmo cover girl) Sarah Geronimo, and the Double Diamond Artist Jose Mari Chan himself. Three months after the album’s release, its carrier single, "Tell Me Your Name," reached the number one spot all over the country!

Ladies--whether single, dating, or in a tough relationship–and even men flocked to Greenhills to witness one of the most romantic concerts of the year. Christian not only sang dreamy songs from his new album, he also belted popular hits like "Empire State of Mind" by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys, "Ikaw Na Nga" by Willie Revillame, and "Beer" by the Itchyworms, to name a few.

Christian's series of songs reflect a love story: first, two people meet and the guy asks the girl to "Tell Me Your Name"; then they warned each other to "Please Be Careful With My Heart"; at the point of heartbreak the guy sings bitter songs, like "What Goes Around Comes Back Around"; and later he wonders, "Can’t We Start Over Again?"

This multi-awarded hunk, who was first discovered in Star In A Million in 2004, has earned himself the title "Asian Pop Idol." His singles won the hearts of other Asians from countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.
