Cosmo 8 Sexiest Models 2011 Party: Celebs And Highlights

Models are such vital members of the Cosmo family. The gorgeous girls you see on our covers, fashion and beauty editorials, and even in the articles of Cosmopolitan Philippines and Cosmo.ph represent the kind of sexiness and sophistication we help you achieve--and they help us inspire you to be the best you can be.
In this month's issue, we've revived an old feature called "Cosmo's 8 Sexiest," which we previously had in 1999, 2002, 2004, and 2005. Six years later, there's a new crop of models taking the runways and magazine pages by storm. The sexiest eight of 2011 are Samantha Lewis, Jasmine Maierhofer, Vanessa Matsunaga, Pauline Prieto, Ana Sideco, Bea Soriano, Wendy Tabusallah, and Jessica Yang. (See their features on pp.164-171 of the November ish!)
To honor the new batch of models, Cosmo threw a fab party at Palladium in New World Hotel in Makati last November 8. Incidentally, this also marks the return of former Cosmo editor-in-chief now editorial director Myrza Sison to the Cosmo helm. New members of the team (fashion director Ana Kalaw, beauty director Agoo Bengzon, and lifestyle editor-at-large Kissa Castaneda) were also formally introduced. Myrza and event host Joey Mead led the toast to the all-new Cosmo with five of this year's 8 Sexiest (unfortunately, Jasmine, Pauline, and Wendy were unable to join us).
The recognition proves to be a big deal since many of the industry's most prominent models like Georgina Wilson, Kelly Misa, Isabel Oli, Amanda Griffin, Bianca Araneta, Isabel Roces, and Wilma Doesnt were once part of the prestigious list.
Famous models from previous batches like Bubbles Paraiso, Phoemela Baranda, Ornusa Cadness, Marilen Faustino, and Ruru Kiram were spotted in the crowd in Palladium. Tons of other celebs like Daniel Matsunaga (who came to support sister Vanessa!), Fabio Ide, Marc Nelson, Sanya Smith, Bianca Valerio, and Tim Yap also partied with us.
