Before we officially bid the Love Month goodbye, we just had to give it one last kilig hurrah. Notice how techonology has played a huge role in your love life through the years? You have kept in touch with that cute boy from church through your landline. Then, you exchanged sweet messages with your high school sweetheart sent to each other's beepers. Years later, you were texting non-stop with that college cutie. Now, you talk for hours on end with your boyfriend through YM, Facebook Chat, or, your mobile phone (loaded with unli-calls). That, or you constantly exchange messages through your BlackBerry phones (BBM, yes?).

It's not just you who keep in touch through techonology. Even your favorite celebs depend just as much on their handsets to keep their respective love lives alive. That was what the star-studded event IN THE NAME OF LOVE: The BlackBerry Show at TriNoma was all about. Last February 6, BlackBerry demonstrated how it touches lives and strengthens the bonds of love among its users--which includes today's hottest showbiz (real and reel) couples.

Hosted by the Queen of Talk, Kris Aquino, The BlackBerry Show gathered some of local entertainment's brightest stars to talk about how their BlackBerry smartphones help them navigate their way through their adventures and misadventures in love.  

Avid BlackBerry users Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado, Carla Abellana and Geoff Eigenmann, Kris Bernal and Aljur Abrenica, Jon Avila, Sunshine Cruz-Montano, Gab Valenciano, and Tweenhearts’ Joshua Dionisio, Barbie Forteza, Jhake Vargas, and Bea Binene shared how their favorite messaging and social media applications on BlackBerry enable them to reach out and experience love, despite the challenges of being in the limelight.
