On Meeting Fun, Fearless Femmes

I have been interviewing celebrities and personalities, movers and shakers, and other fabulous icons since November of 2005. My first interviewee was Gina Lopez, head of ABS-CBN foundation and proponent of projects like the Pasig River clean-up. That interview stint made me realize how lucky I was to have a job that allowed me the chance to meet great people like her.
It's been almost six years since my first interview gig, and I've lost count of the number of fun, fearless femmes (and even males!) I have talked to for my job. Each interviewee is a shining example of what it's like to be an awesome human being. Each of them is an inspiration, a role model with stories and lessons worth sharing.
So you could say that I truly enjoyed mounting this year's Fun, Fearless Female Awards, featured in Cosmo's May 2011 issue. It was taxing, but all the puyat and pagod were worth it! Our ten awardees are all incredible superwomen who have the guts to go after what they want, no matter the obstacles. They're super deserving of the titles, and they all inspire me to become a more fun and fearless girl!
See what went down at the awards night last May 5, and share in the comments who your favorite awardee is!
