Doing the fashion pages every month, I can't help but incorporate some of the ideas into my own life, especially when styling myself or thinking of what to wear every day to work.

On one particular day when I had to dress up for an event, I found myself looking like I had come straight out of the fashion editorial I styled for this month. When I arrived at the office in my leopard-print ensemble, the whole Cosmo staff couldn't help but notice that I obviously got inspired by my fashion ed. People close to me know that I prefer menswear and minimalist clothes, but I wanted to mix it up a bit. I paired a leopard-print dress from SM Department Store with a men's khaki blazer from The Ramp, and accessorized with a belt and heels from SM as well. I'm really loving the nude, skin tone, and khaki palette for summer. I'm definitely giving some of my favorite black and gray pieces a rest this season.

I know how much you girls love animal prints! And that's exactly what's hot this season! Think snakeskin and zebra. Then there's the classic that I focused on this month, a must-have in every Cosmo chick's wardrobe: the leopard print. You'll find different ways to wear it in our fashion story "Hear Me Roar!" in our April 2011 issue.

It was such an adventure to shoot this fashion editorial. We went to Porac, Pampanga--right smack in the middle of the lahar area--and had photographer Jake Versoza take the fabulous photos. Click on the gallery to see behind-the-scenes pictures I took from our shoot.

Since April is our travel-themed issue, we came up with another fashion editorial, "Wear In Asia," which was styled by fashion contributor Myrrh Lao To and shot by photographer BJ Pascual at the NAIA Terminal 3. We also have a fab guide to travel bags. I hope it inspires you to finally take that much-needed vacation this month, or to embark on your dream Asian sojourn--in style, of course.

Every month, I only have one wish: that at least one Cosmo chick feels inspired to style herself and look extra fashionable because of the fashion pages we work so hard to produce. If we could encourage even just one reader, then all the hard work would be sooo worth it.
