  122. This may sound cliché, but I still would compare him to Superman. My man knows how to manage being in a relationship and training for his sport really well. A lot of times, guys can't handle this situation and just let's one or the other suffer. But he can do this, plus all other issues on the side: family, friends, and school. I really look up to how he manages everything really well! He may already sound perfect right now, but I gotta say that we have gone through rough times together and I saw him go thru difficult times too. Superman isn't perfect, after all. One word, Kryptonite. My boy's kryptonite is distraction (bad influence, vices, absent-mind, etc). Although this is very inevitable, he tries to avoid it as much as possible. :)

Just recently, my father died and I was really sad but my hubby thought of ways to cheer me up. We went to our favorite place and we just played drums to our hearts content. Just like when Yuuki's parents died and a vampire wanted to kill her, it was Kaname sama who rescued her and made her forget her sadness. :)

  99. He would be "Naruto", because just like Naruto my man is also a trouble-maker and he oftern plays pranks to everyone. But I think that the root of his trouble-making efforts is a struggle to gain any kind of attention. It is his way of reaching out. However, he also has a desirable trait whereas he doesn't cry in a corner feeling sorry for himself but instead he does something about it regardless of what other people say and think. I guess he wants to appear tough as he could so that everyone would give him respect which I think he also deserves. This kind of mindset is Naruto's trademark personality in the anime series as he strives for his dream to be the next Hokage being known as the hyperactive knucklehead who never gives up. This comic character is like a perfect copy of my man. :)

  82. My man is my own version of Johnny Storm (aka The Human Torch). When I first met him he was so cocky and was really a show-off. I was so put off by his ego that I think that really made him want me more. I finally caved in and spent some time with him and man oh man he really "torched" me up! IF you know what I mean... ;) Of course getting to know the real him was also the best part, he's still a sweet and kind guy at the end of the day. After all these years we've been together I still feel so hot for him, everytime we get close I really work up a sweat!

  68. I would say that the comic character that suits him would be Doraemon. Like Doraemon, he's funny and is full of quirky ideas, but has a lot of sound perspective to throw your way especially when I need them. Doraemon's so-called 4-dimensional pocket, from where he pulls out a lot of useful gadgets when in need (which are also quite futuristic), reminds me of how he almost always has something sensible to say whenever people around him are in a slump. And, as Doraemon is to Nobita, he is sure to be there when needed most. I've known him since highschool (and we became a couple first year in college), and I can say he really has this penchant for round food, like Doraemon.

  59. my man is like daredevil. sounds weird but he's like the comic superhero, he has very sensitive senses (except for his sense of sight but he's not blind, just developed quite a poor eyesight), he can hear faint sounds i can't hear, he can hear if my heart is beating fast, his sense of touch is just... different, just one slight touch and he gets either hurt or aroused(!) his sense of smell is great -- he can smell anything rotten, food (he's our left-over food 'smeller' to judge whether it can still be eaten or not) or even dead, house rodents and can locate it just by following where his nose leads him to! and like daredevil whose weakness is his vulnerability to powerful odors (which can weaken his radar sense), my husband gets really, really annoyed when he smells something bad -- he can be overly fussy and troubled and won't stop til he gets rid of it.

If you are familiar with his story, he has an interesting love story with Rogue, who is untouchable because of her power. In the early days of the courtship, Gambit showed "bravado" towards her but later revealed his true feelings toward her. Same with Rogue, despite her rejection to Gambit, she realized she was attracted to him. Similar things happened to our relationship. Bee and i have been together for almost 10 years. I am focused and determined on my goals to the point that I will do everything I can to achieve them, not that it�s a bad thing. But after a while, it left me drained and tired. It was as if I�ve been chasing something all my life and however I try my best, I still keep on chasing. I was young, but somehow I don�t feel so. And then he came, and taught me of the small things. You see, my guy is the happy-go-lucky kind. He taught me that we can never be too old to enjoy the simple pleasures of life. And that the big things I�m chasing are just destinations, but how you spend the journey will be the one that matters. He is my Peter Pan but I�m not his Wendy (since Wendy in the end grow old and left him alone), nor his Tinkerbell (since I can�t imagine myself that small). We�re both Peter Pans together. And I�m still chasing the big things. But at least I�m chasing them with him. :)

  10. My man is Batman. Batman's costume strikes fear into the criminals of Gotham City. The whole bat look allows the Dark Knight to intimidate criminals before the fighting even begins. My man is a very intimidating man. he is very dark and mysterious which makes him very very sexy. The mask makes it hard to determine Batman's secret identity. Like my man, if you are not close to him, you would not know how loving and kindhearted he is. My man is my Bruce Wayne. The Dark Knight has the best alter-ego out of all the Superheroes. He's that rich kid you love to hate and my man is that badboy-type outside that I used to hate. Though my man does not own any Batmobile, I would always love to be in his Batcave.;,)

  8. 'd choose my man to be compared to Homer Simpson. He sometimes has short memory loss, i think he sometimes forgets im there, He has a beer belly and obsesses with it. He is stupidly funny most of the time. He shows me how he loves me in the weirdest of ways. He may not be a hero at the Hall of Justice, he may not have the abs to get into Cosmo Men. But he is My Man, He is different, unique and exciting to be with. My very own Homer.

  6. I would compare my man to The Hulk, not because they have similar body...lol...but because of the love of Hulk has for his woman and the kindnesss,generosity and patience for everything and that's my man compared to hulk...

  5. I would choose cyclops. my guy doesnt have that optic blast but his chinito eyes surely melt me everytime he stares :) Cyclops is also into girls with telepathic abilites. Good for me because i can communicate my thoughts well.

As an influential archetype of the superhero genre,Superman possesses extraordinary powers, with the character traditionally described as "faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound",well,my man does not possess any of those super powers.How I wish.But despite of not having those aspects,I would still compare him to Superman.Why?! Superman's famous arsenal of powers has included flight and super speed,well my man can't fly,literally but I remember,everytime I need him/I need help,especially on those times that the super-needy-me attacks,he will be there,in the fastest/record breaking time. It seems that he can fly because he's there for me the quickest way possible.Another is vision powers (including x-ray, heat-emitting, telescopic, infra-red, and microscopic vision),well Superman,have that,as for my man,I think-seeing the best in me is a vision power.(People see you everyday but there is only a few who will have the vision to see the Best in you!)My man is mild-mannered like Clark Kent. We also work together ala Lois Lane and Clark Kent since they work together for the Metropolis newspaper Daily Planet. We're not reporters though,but we work in one Company and part of one team.It's good to have someone around,but not most of the time,cause we also need to have time for ourselves.Lastly,the reason I've decided to compare my man to this comic character is the name itself,SUPERMAN-my man is SUPER!�
