  15. i am not that pretty.honestly boys dont take a second glance at me simpluy because i have pimples.i used to envy my cousins but when i started using ponds,boys do stare at meand i appreciate it.it gives me self confidence

  14. i used to have a lot of pimples all over my face and we all know how a pretty face can be ruined by pimples. i went to a dermatologist and she advised me to use benzoil peroxide after i wash my face before going to sleep.. it was REALLY effective. i use panoxyl or benzac more of a beauty treatment than medical. i also have big pores and oily skin. it's quite irritating how it cannot be normally easily done unlike bleaching or slimming down.. a DIY treatment for me is to always wash my face with cold water and use ice as a facial toner during mornings to tighten up my pores. it also makes my cheeks a little rosy.. Maybelline liquid foundation is also good for oily skin, i only put a light powder on and voila, my face is as shinefree as ever.

  13. My day is incomplete without calamansi. It expoliates my skin and gives me a fresh and lighter skin in a cheaper way. I've been using calamansi for 3 years now. To exfoliate my face at night just a moisten a cotton ball with calamansi juice and finish it with moisturizer. And when taking a bath, I used it as a scrub for elbows and knees. It is very effective and 100% natural.

  10. I'm a fulltime kikay mom and, i have a pretty normal beauty routine...cleanse, tone and moisturize...except for a few "extras". By "extra", i mean my spf 50 make up base during daytime esp.before i apply my make-up. At bedtime, there's twice-a-week facial scrub, once-a-week facial mask (i do this every friday night to give me an extra glow during my weekend dates with hubby), an extra for my eyes, age spots and wrinkles, vitamins A, C, E, and calcium supplement, lots of water and the right food (veggies mostly, i rarely eat meat esp. beef and pork) and as much as possible, enough sleep. When i have a date, i take my time applying my make-up...so whenever i go out, i always look my best. It may seem a little tiring trying to do all these things but at my age(i'm 45 yrs. old) i need to do this more bec. of this never-ending fight with aging, and of course i want to be a role model to my three daughters (aged 19, 18 and 17).

  7. I believe the essential habit in beauty is still following the cleanse, tone and moisturize routine. It is a big deal to have a clean canvas to work on while applying your makeup.
