Lea Michele is releasing "You're Mine," a song dedicated to her late boyfriend, Cory Monteith.

Lea Michele is releasing a song dedicated to her late boyfriend, Cory Monteith.

The Glee actress sings about her co-star, who died from drug overdose last July, in the emotionally charged ballad "You're Mine." It was a late addition to her forthcoming debut album, Louder, written in the wake of his passing.

She tweeted on February 10, 2014: "My next IG track #YOUREMINE (available tomorrow) is my favorite song on #LOUDER. It's so special to me & its story is so close to my heart."

Lea, 27, also posted pictures with some of the lyrics to the track, which includes the lines: "I told you all my dreams and fears / and you looked at me and your eyes filled with tears.

"And you said those three words I've been waiting for / you became a part of me."

Lea has also said she feels her bond with Cory has helped give her strength to start her solo music career.

She told Teen Vogue magazine: "I somehow feel the insane love Cory and I had for each other morphed into this strength that I have right now.

"There's just something about knowing he's watching everything I'm doing and feeling like I have to do everything now not just for me but for him."

When asked about which track on "Louder" would be Cory's favorite, she replied: "He loved "Battlefield." I'm getting chills thinking about it. I would say "Burn with You" was his favorite. He came into the studio that day."
