Because it's September and Cosmo is overflowing with hot men, we knew we had to bring you an extra special Online Hunk--one you've been clamoring to see again in our online pages. You've been wanting to find out who topped the Cosmo Summer's Steamy Studs Online Voting, and now we'll let you get to know him, all September long. Meet your fave Steamy Stud, PJ Go, a 20-year-old model from Batangas.
PJ took a break from his Marketing course at University of the East to focus on his modeling career--which, luckily, is off to a promising start! Actually, this year's Steamy Studs feature wasn't PJ's first Cosmo stint. He wowed us first as one of Cosmo's 69 Savage Bachelors in 2010 and joined the lineup of gorgeous men who knocked us off our feet at last year's Bachelor Bash. He has been modeling for commercials and fashion editorials, and you may even have spotted PJ on the runway of several Philippine Fashion Week shows. He also spent time with Cosmo chicks last summer: he was a hit at our Cosmo Club Scene parties!
Now, we give you the chance to know him more--in all his sexy manly glory. He's a gym buff who likes to chill, hang with his buddies, and spend time with his girl (yeah, sorry dolls, he's taken!). The six-foot Chinese-Spanish cutie may seem a little shy when you first meet him, but once you get to know him, you'll find a sweetheart beneath the quiet, tough, and chiseled exterior. As he himself said, "Men from Batangas are very sweet and honest." PJ definitely was!
Read on for PJ's thoughts on first impressions and the best way to really know him. Make sure you check out his first set of HOT photos, shot in one of his fave spots: the gym!
What's the first thing people usually notice about you?
My height and the physical aspect, kasi parang hindi [raw] bagay sa 20-year-old. Sabi nila, kasi parang masyado raw akong matangkad at ang laki ko kaso bata pa.
How would you describe your lifestyle?
Madalas akong gising sa gabi kaysa sa umaga. I'm a night person. I like just chilling with my friends, sa house ng friend namin, 'yon.
From past interviews, we know you work out, play basketball, and do Jiu-Jitsu. What are your other hobbies and interests?
What is something that makes meeting you unforgettable?
What's the first thing you notice in a girl?
Her smile.
What's the biggest mistake girls make on a first date?
'Yung nagpapa-impress. When she's just trying to pretend, pero hindi naman siya 'yon, e. Turn off talaga 'yon.
Would you ever date a girl who asked you out? Why or why not?
No. I experienced once na parang talagang pinupuntahan niya ako... ang weird. Tapos parang nagfi-freak out ako. 'Di ko alam kung matatakot ako o matutuwa! (Laughs.)
What's the best way a girl could get to know the real you?
Siguro through a nice conversation, getting to know each other really well. And, mas okay kung meron kaming mutual friends or may relatives na magkakilala.
What are the topics a girl should know about to have a great conversation with you?
We know you have a girlfriend. What qualities did you first notice and learn to love about her?
Siguro [the fact that she was] caring 'tsaka understanding, kasi iba 'yung body clock namin. Ako, night person ako, e she goes to school pa. Siyempre boys, talagang messed up e. Nakakatuwa lang.
