'Crazy Yellow Kia' Driver Who Wreaked Havoc In Makati Won't Face Charges

People decided not to file charges after she said she'll pay for their hospital and car repair bills.

The driver of the yellow Kia Picanto, known to netizens as the "crazy yellow Kia," who plowed through people and vehicles at Rockwell Center in Makati City on Friday night, November 11, has surrendered to the authorities and has been released.

"The driver of the yellow Kia was identified [to be] a 28-year-old woman who resides in San Juan City. Those who got hurt in the incident decided not to file charges against her after she committed to shoulder their medical and car repair expenses," reports ABS-CBN News.

ABS-CBN News further reveals: "The driver of the yellow Kia told Makati police she was only flagged down by Rockwell security officials due to illegal parking. She also claimed that she panicked after she was chased and mobbed by Rockwell marshals. No blotter entry of the incident was filed at the Makati Traffic Command Center."

However, according to ABS-CBN News, a witness claims that "the car allegedly earlier figured in an accident involving a silver sedan. [The driver] supposedly refused to alight from her car and sped off."
