Jennifer Lawrence has gone public with her new romance after openly kissing director Darren Aronofsky during a date night in New York City.
The Hunger Games star has been keeping fans guessing the nature of her relationship with Darren in recent weeks after enjoying a number of casual outings with the Black Swan filmmaker.
However, it appears Jennifer is no longer trying to keep their blossoming romance under wraps after they were photographed smiling and locking lips as they strolled hand-in-hand in the Big Apple on Wednesday night.
In the images, obtained by DailyMail.co.uk, Jennifer is pictured wrapped up in a black coat and scarf, while Darren went without a jacket, choosing instead to wear a button-down shirt and pants, with a light scarf draped over his shoulder.
The cozy snaps mark the first time the new couple has put on a public display of affection, although Jennifer, 26, and Darren, 47, were spotted sharing a lollipop as they stepped out last weekend to walk the actress' dog, Pippa.
Reports suggest the stars grew close while filming Aronofsky's new, untitled movie over the summer and things developed from there.
"They've been hanging out and are casually dating," a source told People.com last month.
The romance is famously-private Jennifer's first since splitting from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin last summer after dating on and off for a year. She also previously dated her X-Men co-star Nicholas Hoult.
Meanwhile, Darren shares a 10-year-old son, named Henry, with his ex-fiancée Rachel Weisz. The two broke up in 2010. He then became involved with Canadian producer Brandi-Ann Milbradt, whom he also proposed to, but they parted ways last year.
