Kendall and Kylie Jenner were rescued by New York firefighters after getting trapped in an elevator on Thursday night.

The 20-year-old supermodel and her 19-year-old sibling were leaving an apartment in the city on their way to a New York Fashion Week event when the incident occurred.

As they traveled down to the lobby in the elevator alongside best friends Hailey Baldwin and Jordyn Woods, Kendall and Kylie were left terrified when the elevator ground to a halt and they discovered they were trapped.

Kylie had her priorities straight: She used Snapchat to document the incident.

"So my worst nightmare just happened. We are stuck in the elevator," Kylie can be heard telling the camera in her videos, before continuing, "We're actually stuck in an elevator in real life, I never thought this would actually happen, I'm genuinely so terrified."

Kendall appeared to be dealing with the situation in a more light-hearted manner, and the foursome joked about being trapped by rationing out a granola bar they happened to have with them.

After being trapped in the elevator for around 20 minutes, Kendall, Kylie, Hailey, and Jordyn were rescued by New York firefighters, and expressed their gratitude by posing for a snap with the hunks that helped them out of their sticky situation.

Kylie appeared to quickly get over the terror she experienced in the trapped lift, as she was seen leaving the apartment block with a smile, joined by boyfriend Tyga to head to a NYFW event.

The lip kit kween flaunted her new platinum blonde hair in a high ponytail, teamed with a baby blue mini dress and heels, giving her outfit a '60s vibe.

Kendall, meanwhile, looked stunning and statuesque in a strappy black dress. While Kylie was with her arm candy, there was no sign of One Direction star Harry Styles, with whom Kendall is said to have recently rekindled her romance.
