When Kita Kita's trailer first came out, we were honestly intrigued. But we had no idea it would be such a big hit when it came out in theaters.

PLOT

Sigrid Bernardo's rom-com is about Lea (Alessandra de Rossi), a Filipina tour guide working in Sapporo, Japan, who goes blind after she discovers that her Japanese boyfriend has been cheating on her. Tonyo (Empoy Marquez), also a Filipino, appears in her life after going blind and they start to develop a friendship and even a romantic relationship.

SO REAL

There are movies that make us go on and on about how good they are or how much we loved them, except that Kita Kita isn't one of those. We're just in awe of how beautiful everything about it is. And in the last few scenes, we were dumbfounded, silent.

So, we're letting these posts from social media tell you why you need to watch it. because it's definitely one movie you shouldn't miss watching on the big screen this year.

And in case you were looking for it, here's the video of KZ Tandingan singing it live. ~*weeps*~

5. Because, as written in The Little Prince, "what is essential is invisible to the eye."

6. That's true love for us right there.

7. "Leche si Empoy." HAHAHUHU

8. You'll only cry once because you'll be crying non-stop. LOL :(
