Back off a little. You're coming on a bit too strong. This is because you're craving a deeper commitment, as in marriage. You and your sweetie have been together for some time now and you feel that it's only natural that you make the relationship permanent. But he is very comfortable with the way things are right now, and any talk of bridal gowns and engagement rings freak him out. The only way to get him to change his mind is to give him an ultimatum, but be prepared to take it all the way. If he still doesn't budge, take yourself away for a while. Single? Hold your temper. Even if your boss is being too critical, don't answer back and lose your cool. Accept the criticism and proceed to show him how cooperative and amenable you are. So long as he doesn't scream and say nasty things, it's okay for him to call you out if you did a sloppy job. Resolve to do better in the future and prove what a treasure you are.
