Avoid faking interest in somebody new just to make your sweetie jealous. You don't have to resort to this cheap trick just to find out whether it will affect him or not. Doing this only makes you appear insecure and when you don't have enough confidence in a relationship, it becomes evident especially to your sweetie. When you are not afraid of losing him because you know you can survive even without him, he will stick to you like a leech and you don't need another guy to threaten him. Single? Although admirable, your ideals may be a bit too high for others to encourage you. To fully achieve your goals, aim lower. It's not bad to start somewhere small for the time being. If you seek love, lower your standards. If you seek a raise or a promotion at work, then work diligently instead of giving it a happy-go-lucky attitude. You'll eventually get the hang of adjusting the temperature.
