Hunky Ateneo, La Salle Fans Tell Us What They Think Of The Rivalry

Whether Ateneans and Lasallians think their schools' rivalry is better or worse than it used to be, we at Cosmo believe one thing: both schools have loads of HOT fans!

We're drawn to basketball matches between Ateneo and De La Salle for various reasons. Among the many major crowd-drawers of any Ateneo-La Salle match--including the one held last Saturday, July 16, at Araneta Coliseum--are the two top universities' long-standing rivalry, particularly on the basketball court, and hoardes of good-looking players and die-hard fans from both schools.

It was the first match between the historic rivals for Season 74 of the UAAP, and as expected, thousands of fans--including students, alumni, and celebrities--came to watch the game. The blue side of the court went home happy, as the Ateneo Blue Eagles emerged victorious over the De La Salle Green Archers with a final score card of 81-72. Earlier that day, the Adamson Falcons crushed the FEU Tamaraws, 78-59.

As you know, Ateneo and La Salle aren't just a breeding-ground for pro athletes (think Chris Tiu, Enrico Villanueva, Wesley Gonzales, and Jason Webb); they're also the alma mater of many hot college hunks, including three of our four July Cosmo Online Hunks: Franco Imperial, Mike Advincula, and Luigi Celdran. We spotted Chris, Franco, Luigi, and loads of other familiar and new gorgeous faces at the game last Saturday. Since everyone was so pumped up about the game, we asked them: "Do you think the Ateneo-La Salle rivalry is still as bad as it used to be? Why or why not?"
