6 Things You Should Know About Xian Lim
Learn the status of his relationship with his Katorse co-star Erich Gonzales, and what he'd do to impress a girl.

Loyal Cosmo chicks know that Xian Lim was one of the 69 Bachelors in 2008. Standing 6’2” and sporting a perpetually sexy smirk, it’s no wonder the then 19-year-old model/basketball player was able to snag that coveted spot in the lineup of 69 hottest men.
Fast-forward to 2009: Xian is now one of the rising young stars of ABS-CBN. He appears in the TV remake of the 1980 film Katorse with Erich Gonzales and fellow Cosmo Centerfold Ejay Falcon. And the tsinito has grown so much hotter in the past year that he deserves no less than Centerfold status. It also did not escape Cosmo that his pool of admirers just got waaay bigger after his sizzling turn down the Bachelor Bash ramp.
In an effort to get to know this hottie (who hauntingly makes us think of the handsome vampire Edward Cullen), Cosmo gathered six facts every Xian fan (which all of us are, deep inside) SHOULD know about him.
1. A Psychology major in the University of the East, Xian juggles acting and school.
“After taping, I go home para makapunta sa school kaagad.”
2. Xian was born and raised in San Francisco, California. He moved to the Philippines in 2008.
“Nung ginawa ko ’yung Bachelor shoot last year, two weeks pa lang ako dito. I’ve pretty much adjusted na [to life in the Philippines]. I learned na mas mabait ang tao dito. They’re happier. I plan to stay here for good.”
3. Xian was a model before he became an actor.
“When I got here, [I did] a couple of modeling jobs. Pero not so much, mga one month [lang that I did] modeling jobs. My manager took me to ABS-CBN, asked if I wanted to do acting. Sabi naman nila if I wanna try it out they’ll give me workshops, then we’ll go from there. That’s how it started.”
4. This real-life good boy plays a good boy in Katorse.
“Ang role ko is Alfie Anido’s role. In the original Katorse, Alfie Anido was played by Gabby Concepcion, [with] Ms. Dina Bonnevie [playing Erich's role]. Ang contrast between the two brothers (the other played by Ejay) is medyo salbahe 'yung isa, ako naman 'yung responsible brother. So basically the story goes na it shows the challenges of life, how we deal with the challenges.”
5. Xian wouldn’t do anything out of the ordinary just to impress a girl he likes.
“I would just be myself. I don’t act unnatural. Just be yourself and act the way you always do. You don’t have to do anything. Just be yourself.”
6. He remains tight-lipped about being romantically-involved with Katorse costar Erich Gonzales!
“We’re friends, we’re good friends.”
