Victor Aliwalas Dates A Cosmo Chick!

On February 10, Cosmo chicks flocked to the Cosmo chatroom to score a date with hunky actor and model Victor Aliwalas. They tried to tease, charm, and flirt their way into Victor’s heart.

Veronica Macato*, 23, an IT help desk agent (not to be confused with our Bedroom Blogger of the same name!), is a romantic gal who’s in it for the long haul. “I’m looking for a guy who understands what my thoughts are; I understand him in return... [I want] someone trustworthy,” she revealed in the Celebrity Dating Game. This loyal chick has never cheated on a boyfriend in the past, and doesn’t ever plan to. “Honesty is the foundation of any relationship. And I believe in karma,” she said.

Despite her rosy view on relationships, Veronica can be a realist as well. When Victor asked Cosmo chatters what they thought of courtship, she replied, “I respect those people who do believe in courtship, but it just doesn’t work for me. I’ll be very honest on the onset—if I like you then there will be a second date; if not, then we can be friends.” She also has a naughty streak, which is just so Cosmo! As Victor flashed his abs for the delighted chatters to see, Veronica exclaimed, “That's so sexy, I can't stop staring!”

No wonder she was handpicked to go on a date with the US-born hottie! But before Veronica met her Prince Charming face to face, we had to give her the royal treatment first.

On February 12, a few hours before the special night, Cosmo.ph brought Veronica to The Ramp Crossings in Glorietta to pick out a dress, shoes, and accessories for the date. She then made her way to Studio Fix by Alex Carbonell in Greenbelt 5 to be primped, prettified, and polished with a lovely glow. She particularly loved her head-turning curls, which are soft and bouncy, thanks to the Pureology Hydracure Treatment she was given.

When she finally met Victor for dinner at Museum Cafe in Greenbelt 4, the hunky actor welcomed her with a beautiful bouquet of flowers from San Ramoune Flower Shop in Legaspi St., Makati. The two immediately hit it off. Victor was gracious, while Veronica was every bit the lady. They talked non-stop about a wide variety of topics, from interesting bits about themselves to politics, music, and showbiz! And they enjoyed free-flowing conversation over a five-course meal especially prepared by M Cafe for couples on Valentine's.

They continued their bonding session at Red Box Karaoke in Greenbelt 3, where they proved to one another that they could carry a tune, as they enjoyed drinks and scrumptious snacks from the buffet! Victor specifically picked out alternative tunes, which he found was Veronica's favorite. He did indulge her one Ne-Yo song, since she happens to like the R&B singer, too. Veronica, meanwhile, wowed Victor with her powerful vocals by singing Alanis Morissette and Beyonce hits. Before the night ended, they even sang a couple of duets!

Both Victor and Veronica couldn't stop saying how much they enjoyed their date. In fact, they even extended the date for an hour longer! Both promised to keep in touch, too.

40. I agree with jhinggay... Summer33 and her friends like me are not "bitter" of what happened on this promo, in fact we're so proud of her! nagkataon lang na we are really friends with her, and we know the story behind this... and still, there are things we don't understand or some "unforseen circumstances". but then again, we thank Cosmo for this promo, we just hope that next time the "unforseen circumstances" won't happen again.

39. again,im sorry @tinnnnn076! just my pov, sana next time magbigay na lang ng criteria ang cosmo sa mga pwedeng sumali sa cosmo chat para walang nangyayaring ganyan.. sana naman ang cosmo eh matuto sa mga mistakes nila sa promos nila..para di nadadala yung iba na sumali..at di makapg-isip ng bad about cosmo..i-clear nila yung rules ng promos nila at sana walang bawian ng winner unless may criteria sila na binigay at di nameet ung winner..dapat ganun eh..di yung ganyang na biglang may "unforseen circumstances".
