Ana's Insecurities Part 2

The next time Ana opened up to me, we finally agreed on something. You see, Sam was the type of guy who stayed in touch with his exes. I mean that quite literally. Even during our "artist days," he met his exes for dinner to catch up on things.

I couldn't remember how many debates we had about it, but we always ended up in a truce: he just wanted to keep in touch and there was nothing wrong with that.

"I just don't get it," Ana started. "Bakit kailangan pa niyang mag-keep in touch sa mga ex niya 'di ba? May feelings pa ba siya para sa mga 'yon?"

"Sam is the type of person who doesn't hold grudges," I answered. "That's why he's friends with all his exes, even the one who cheated on him. That makes him a saint, actually."

"But he has a girlfriend now," Ana whined. "And I feel bad about it."

"Then why don't you tell him that?"

"I can't," she said softly.

"Why not?" I raised an eyebrow. "You're the girlfriend. You have every right to tell him to stop seeing his exes."

"Have you tried telling him that?"

"Why would I?" I asked. "I'm not his girlfriend."

"I mean, as a friend?" Ana said.

"No. I mean, as a friend, I just tell him what I think about it," I said. "But we never tell each other what to do. Never have. Because that's just how he is, and that's what friends do: accept each other. And I accept him for that."

"But it's still wrong, right?" she continued. "He's with someone else now, so the past shouldn't matter anymore. If he's single, he can do that for all his friends care, but he's in a relationship now. Isn't he satisfied with me?"

I raised an eyebrow. That depends, I thought. Are you flexible?

When I didn't answer, Ana asked, "Can you do something about it?"

"Me?"

"Yes, you are his best friend. You should do something."

The audacity of this pig, I thought.

"Okay, I'll talk to him."

  17. @jodysalao: I know what you mean. Don't worry, I promise I will explain the reason why I talk like this about her. Just stay with me, we're almost to the climax of my story. And btw, this is a part of my life when I don't have my horns and fangs yet, just claws. You can say na I'm not yet fully a bitch transformed (haha) thus the "inside my head bitchiness." Promise, there's more to this than just one guy's female best friend acting like a prima donna.

  15. no, im not saying be affront naman, pero not to be too rude, i think? like, c'mon, we all had our fair share of being a man's girlfriend with a nega vibe, and surely, we cannot please all our bf's friends. pero what could be worse than that is to be backfighted by our bf's femme bestfriend.. well, aside from that, i personally think that someone cannot be a bitch and a fake at the same time... trying to show off a halo rather than a fang is like holding a starbucks tumbler filled with an 3-in-1 coffee.. :) pero ok lang... hehe... honestly din kasi, mejo nabo-bore na ko sa blogs tungkol kay anna? sana dun na sa part na magbe-beak na sila? joke, peace!

  12. @jodysalao: Maybe, kasi if she's affront with Anna, her ties with Sam will be severed. Bitches always have ulterior motives for their behaviors. Maybe that's what V aimed for... not to ruin her friendship with Sam just because of Anna. La lang.

"Are you flexible?" frankly, v., i don't quite get it, why would you keep on pretending to be ok around anna, if you can't stand her, why don't you just stay away instead of making this evil comments in your head, i mean, i don understand you, im a bitch too, pero isn't this quite too much? just wondering.. somehow i feel bad for anna, not that im fat ah, pero i had an ex before just like sam who has a sexy female bestfriend... and i would be pretty much devastated if he's friend was thinking the way you are din.. :( sad lang...

  5. WOAAH! the nerve of this pig, err..gf!:) I understand her though for getting praning everytime Sam gets in touch with his exes. But duhh,she has to settle the issue with Sam herself and not drag you into it.
