Early on, we didn't want to be like those couples who seem to create their own planet, like Nicia and Ken. We didn't want to be the kind of non-single friends who couldn't function without the other. So instead of going out solo, we went out with groups. We met each others' friends for brunch, dinner, movies, concerts, inuman, and videoke sessions. Soon we developed good friendships and separate connections with a crowd that didn't label me "Logan's girlfriend."

You know that cliche about not being too chummy with your boyfriend's friends, because you might end up looking like you're "trying too hard"? Unless you offer to pay for everything every time, just to get on his friends' good side, own it, girlfriend!

Somehow, I became really good friends with most of Logan's friends, without any ulterior motive, simply because they're awesome. It's almost funny how a handful of them (mostly guys) talk to me about relationship issues simply because they know I write a blog about lust and relationships. Even if I don't get to help them solve whatever relationship issues they have, it's really flattering to know that they think of me as not just some girl that Logan's dating, but someone they can actually trust.

Bonding with your boyfriend's friends is really an awesome thing, but not quite as awesome when his friends and your pals get along in ways not even you can imagine.
