So, I did. I asked our common guy friends if their way of brushing off any talk about marriage is a reflex, a conscious survival tactic, or both. Just as Logan had predicted, most of the guys cringe at the mere mention of the "M" word. Most of the time, men are not ready to talk about it because they are not yet at the point in their lives when they’re ready to take it on seriously. Just like Logan.

Ironically, it’s amazing how mature some men are about marriage. Women, like me, go crazy over the details. Men go bonkers over the expenses. In this scenario, it’s the men who see the bigger picture.

And, with that, I understood that Logan is one of those guys who are still in transition. He’s not yet in the "settling" stage of his life. And so am I. But since I’m a girl, I’m susceptible to the cheesiness that comes from watching too many wedding AVPs on Facebook. With this, I conclude that my boyfriend is just like Mr. Big in Sex and the City. Of course, I posted this on Facebook.

But, it meant differently to Logan’s friends.

Bim: Are we talking Totoy Mola big? Sa bagay, nung high school, siya yata ang may pinaka-Mr. Big. Wahahaha!

Veronica: ‎@Bim: Wah! We're talking about Mr. Big of Sex And The City. 'Yung boyfriend ni Carrie Bradshaw! Big, kasi the guy is larger than life. Pero, hmmm, nice trivia! Haha!

Mel (Bim’s GF): Wait lang @Bim, paano mo nalaman? @V: I've always rooted for Mr. Big.

Jaci (Logan and Bim’s friend): ‎@Mel, one word...spooning... By the way, hindi ako nanonood ng Sex And City for very obvious reasons, kaya I don't have any f*ckin' clue kung sino si Mr. Big...ibang Mr. Big ang alam ko, 'yung banda, of course.

Bim: My best buddy was actually quite famous in [school deleted] for having the largest p*nis among all the students.

Jaci: Dude, didn’t know that until now...baka hindi mo pa nakikita 'yung "sleeping fairy" Hahaha!

Veronica: SATC is a gold mine if you want to read what's on a woman's mind. Haha, 'di ba, Mel? This is embarrassing. Logan will kill me when he wakes up.

Mel: Tama, more guys should watch SATC. On Bim and Logan, I wonder who spooned who.

Veronica: Okay, so nagsisilipan pala talaga ang mga lalaki.

Bim: Hindi kami nagsisilipan, pero 'pag may swimming sa PE, nagtataka kami kung bakit palaging may tumatama sa binti namin 'pag dumadaan si Logan e. Wahahahaha!

Veronica: DISTURBING MENTAL IMAGES! DISTURBING MENTAL IMAGES!

Jaci: BTW, why are you guys talking about Logan's wiener in the first place on the Net anyway? Pwede siguro pang-blog!

Veronica: E kasi naman Mr. Big refers to Carrie's boyfriend on SATC. The guy is bigger than life and so McDreamy. Tapos napunta na sa wiener talk, huhu.

Logan: WTF?! Hey, why are we talking about my junk here? I don't think this is public information.

Veronica: Sorry honey, please don't kill me.

Bim: It totally is public information. Many fan sites have been created worshiping your man-gina, dude.

Hay naku, mga lalaki talaga! Hahaha!
