I didn't tell Logan about the movie. Of course, I didn't! As much as I wanted to obsess over it, I didn't have anyone to talk to about it; not when everyone's busy with their careers.

I forgot about the movie for a while, focused on work, and downloaded movies and series again. Logan and I went on weekly dates and tried to make the best of the weekends we usually spent together when we're not required to go anywhere.

One night, when I was still not in the mood to write, I browsed through some friends' pages on Facebook to pass the time. I clicked on a movie trailer video on a friend's wall. I fell madly in love with it, and I couldn't wait to see it on the big screen. A few seconds before the trailer ended, the lead character said her partner's name out loud: "I love you ______. I just don't want you anymore.”

That was Matt's real name. Again.

Argh!!!

This time, it hit me like a lightning bolt, and all the passion I longed to feel again came rushing back to me from an old, totally inappropriate, and totally wrong source.

But, can you really ignore it the second time the universe tries to drill something into your head? It's like an old, sappy, but terribly pushy advertisement that gives you terrible bouts of LSS that you're better off just acknowledging than pretending it doesn't affect you.

It's like that song from Rihanna that goes "Oh na na…what's my name?"

The first time I heard that song on the radio, I wanted to slap someone on the face. I hated it so much and tried my best to ignore it, but the line "Oh na na what’s my name?" kept popping into my head like a broken record.

When I heard Matt's real name in the movie trailer, it's like Matt singing "Oh na na…what's my name? Ooh na na…what's my name?" Argh!!!

And so I acknowledged the fact that the universe might be telling me something here. That it was no accident that I came across two very different movies where the two lead characters have the same name as Matt's at a time when I'm questioning my own romantic relationship with someone else.

It's starting all over again. I could feel my feet slipping into the oh so familiar rabbit hole. I could feel my body getting all tangled up in the same old spider web I've created for myself years ago.

Somebody save me.

I need a hero.

Oh, what a tangled web I weave.
