And then I wonder... maybe I’m too busy thinking about the gown to wear, the motif to employ, the flowers to arrange, the food to taste from the caterer, and the picturesque venue to pick. Okay, so maybe these are the only things I see right now whenever I hear about weddings. I totally brushed off the important and heavy artillery like wedding vows, lifetime commitment, married life budget, and forever and ever in matrimony, amen.

Yes, I want a wedding. Pwede bang saka na 'yung marriage?

I was going crazy just thinking about these things, so I texted Logan about it.

Veronica: I’m getting mushy na naman! Ang dami kong friends na kinakasal! Nagse-self-pity, jealousy, woman-crazy na naman ako!

Logan: Ah okay, don’t be jealous na, babe. 'Wag ka na rin mag-self-pity diyan. Relax, okay?

Veronica: YOU’RE JUST A BOY! YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND! Huhuhu!!! You don’t know what it feels like for a girl when all her friends start getting married...

Logan: But, babe, not all your friends are getting married. Tatlo pa lang, 'di ba? So don’t fret, baby girl.

Veronica: Baby girl your face!!!

Logan didn’t reply after that. I spent the next 30 minutes watching wedding AVPs on the Internet for the nth time. An hour later, I still haven't received a response from Logan. I thought he decided to lay low and keep a safe distance because I was getting all fired up. But when I called him to ask if he’s mad because of my irrational outburst, he answered.

“Sorry nakatulog ako. Hindi ka pa ba matutulog?”

Argh! This reminds me of a chapter I read in one book: Most of the time, you need to spell out for a man the reason you got mad. And, even then, as expected, some of them still won’t get it.

  7. After spending the last 6 (and counting) years of my life with my man, natutunan ko na rin sakyan yang ganyang mga reaction. There really is a difference on how a man and a woman react on things. Plus, we ladies tend to over-react and over-analyze. :) kaya, i can relate to that. :)

  1. kainis. pero the thing is, us girls we worry and think about so much things. minsan nga ako i reflect on so many things tas pag nagaaway kami ng bf ko tas pag kausap ko bigla ba naman, sorry nakatulog ako. =)) parang si logan lang. =))
