To Write Or Not To Write?

"Honey, okay lang ba sa'yo na sinusulat ko 'yung love life natin sa Bedroom Blog?" I asked Logan earlier this year.

"Okay lang, bakit?" he replied.

"Pati 'YUN?"

He laughed. "Oo naman! Para mabasa ng lahat ang bedroom prowess ko!"

The audacity of this boy.

I couldn't remember what I was holding that time—a bottle of mineral water or my phone—but I remember hitting him playfully with it, over and over, until he managed to get me to stop laughing hysterically.

...Which brings me now to the other reason I decided to open Chapter 4 of Bedroom Blog by Veronica with Brix's story: Writing about it gave me ample time to decide how to go about my story.

I wrote in the Chapter 3 Finale that, of course, being in a relationship changes things. I mean, there are things that my partner and I want to keep private.

For instance, during one petty fight a few months ago, I changed my relationship status from "in a relationship" to "single," both in my private Facebook account and in the fan page—a habit I unfortunately adapted from my crazy best friends Nicia and Gail. Hours later, amidst a string of inquiries from friends, ranging from mild concern to slight panic, my mother called me downstairs to ask what was wrong. Unlike other women her age, my mother doesn't have a Facebook account. As the plot thickened, I found out it was my aunt who called my mother to ask. As it turned out, my aunt reads Bedroom Blog (I'm so busted) and she saw my status changed in the fan page.

  1. hahaha...Logan is cute and great for you V!you should keep writing but you can keep the details of "those things" private para kahit papano you have stuff between you and Logan... BUT NEVER STOP BLOGGING PLLLEEEAASSEEE! =) it feels good to know that after so many katangahan when it comes to love you got the happy ending that you've always deserved. it gives women like us undergoing what you went through some sort of hope and have faith that somehow something better is in store for each of us =)
