1. He's precoccupied with appearances.
Sure, looks are part of the equation, but be wary of a man who emphasizes them in his description ("six-pack abs") or lists physical features he wants in a woman ("tisay, 5 feet 5 inches or taller, under 115 pounds"). He's either shallow or only interested in getting laid.
2. He's only looking to score.
"I'm looking for someone I can hang out and have fun with" is secret code for "I want a hook-up buddy, not a commitment."
3. He's in it for the long haul.
A guy who is in a rush to marry will be laser-focused on meeting chicks who are exactly his type. He'll have an extensive rundown of specifications he desires ("must like Thai food, dogs, adventure travel, and surfing"). Plus, he'll note who need not apply ("If you smoke or are unemployed, don't bother.").
