Benefit Cosmetics Opens Its First Store In Manila

The long wait is over for many makeup mavens who have been anticipating the opening of a classic American brand, whose products you often see in celebrity kikay kits: Benefit Cosmetics. The company, which was founded in San Francisco in the '70s by twins Jean and Jane Ford, is known for its quick-fix solutions to beauty problems and playful packaging that stands out from other high-end brands.
What started out as a neighborhood makeup boutique expanded into a global brand that now has over 35 markets worldwide. The first Benefit store in Manila opened recently at the ground floor of Greenbelt 5, and we were part of the eager crowd who made a beeline for cult faves like the Benetint lip and cheek stain, Lemon Aid eyelid primer, Boi-ing concealer, POREfessional primer, and more.
We were delighted to discover that the store even has the famed Brow Bar (there are over 500 worldwide), which offers various services. It's a great place to spend time gossiping and primping with your girlfriends!
