Marian Rivera Channels The Fun-Loving, Stylish Cosmo Girl In The June 2010 Issue

Sex and the City 2, which came out in theaters this month, served as the inspiration for actress Marian Rivera's looks for the cover and inside pages of the June 2010 issue of Cosmopolitan. In line with the magazine's theme, "Girls just wanna have fun," Cosmo wanted the gorgeous primetime TV leading lady to "look like she's going out to party with the girls in the city," explains Cosmo Associate Art Director Paula Pangan.
Cosmo Associate Fashion Editor Happy Lopez therefore pulled out tons of gorgeous colorful dresses, a lot of which came from Karimadon, the clothing brand Marian endorses, to achieve this fun party-girl look for our cover girl. "We went mostly with party dresses in bright colors or jewel tones so that [the look is] colorful, more fun. The dresses are in super sexy silhouettes but with a lot of draping, which is one of the main trends for this season," says Happy.

5. I have dress #32, in black. I won't forget that dress because I left it at a jeepney right after I bought it. Thanks to an honest driver who returned it to the dispatcher, I found it, and was able to wear it to the Fun, Fearless Awards. Whew.
