We know how you, fashion-and-budget-conscious Cosmo chicks, love shopping in department stores, that's why Cosmo never tires of featuring the latest finds you can sink your style-hungry paws on! We know you have been waiting for this, so we're giving you front-row access to the newest collection of SM Department Store, which they presented at the recently-held Philippine Fashion Week.
SM Department Store is a one-stop shopping mecca where ladies (and their men!) can find clothes, shoes, accessories for various occasions and style requirements. The fashion show featured four different collections for women and men: Resort, Casual, Work, and Evening. Shoes were provided by Parisian, their resident shoe brand, which also revealed the latest trends in footwear: Natural Palette and Re-Belle With A Cause (think ballerina meets rock star). Accessories from their in-house brand What Women Want (WWW) were also presented in the show. Their Gold Collection and Cleopatra Reigns Collection, which feature glam, sparkly gold ornaments, give you a peek at the bright future that lies ahead for local, budget-friendly fashion.
If you're still not ready to let go of summer, you would certainly love their Resort collection, which features funky bikinis, highlighter-colored tops, ferocious animal prints–you name it! These are perfect for your laid-back post-summer or back-to-school house parties and trips.
For weekend getaways and trips to the mall, relaxed and chill gals will love the Casual collection. Basic items are matched with colorful printed ones, while classic staples are paired with tailored clothes in refined silhouettes. Dressing down has never looked this nice.
If you want to inject a little more spice and style to your office wardrobe, take style cues from SM’s Work collection. They gave your staple business attire a touch of play and color.
Of course, it's important for Cosmo chicks to party almost as hard as you work, so you would certainly love SM’s Evening collection. Black and white delicate pieces ruled the runway, while party clothes in different cuts, draping, and structures turned heads, too.
