What's In The Liz Claiborne Bag Of TV Host Pat Fernandez?

Pat Fernandez has come a long way since she was crowned Binibining Pilipinas-International back in 2008. You may have caught a glimpse of the 26-year-old in several commercials and TV shows, but now that she's the showbiz news segment host on TV5's morning show, Sapul Sa Singko, you can expect to see more of her on your screens.
Pat often covers celebrity events, of course, as part of her job. We caught up with her at a press event for TV5's recently-concluded aksyon-serye, Ang Utol Kong Hoodlum, and decided to turn the camera on the bubbly host. She was dressed very casually in a denim jacket, plain top, and jeans; she told us that her daily workwear is usually very simple. "I usually wear jeans pero I love wearing dresses, 'yung mga flowing, floral dresses. They make me feel girly and Thumbelina-like or Tinkerbell, ganun--gusto ko kasing maging Disney Princess pero 'di na matutupad dahil sa News5 (laughs)."
Though she likes girly fashion, the purse she carried that day was actually very elegant and classic: She toted a Liz Claiborne Villager purse she got from her grandmother. She admitted that she has a penchant for large bags: "I have a lot of bags sa house, pero hindi ko siya masyadong napagpapalit-palit kasi...burara ako (laughs). 'Pag merong super special events, 'tsaka lang ako nagdadala ng smaller bags. Sinasaksak ko rin 'yung mga gamit ko doon!"

10. It is not swoon worthy, more on attainable...and frankly, realistic. It just shows that just like most people, Pat Fernandez uses local drugstore makeup. That it is possible to look exceptionally pretty without necessarily using high end products. You want really swoon worthy, leaf thru Vogue, Lifestyle Asia and Tatler. Not Cosmo.

9. Humility and being down-to-earth should not be sneered at. I think it's great that even in a world that's decidedly materialistic (aka luxurious) and overly concerned about the next big thing (swoon worthy, perhaps?), here you find a woman who is confident about herself and less concerned about what the price tag of her belongings might say about her. I say kudos to Pat for keeping it real!!

8. cosmo staff should have screened prior -is it "swoon" worthy? whatever the reason or defense is for posting this entry, no matter how sincere, in the LUXURIOUS and FABULOUS world cosmo wishes to present: this is just way below mediocre.
