Are You A Non-Girly Girl?

Do a quick wardrobe inventory. Do you own a lot of basic tees, jeans, sneakers, and shift dresses? Pinay fashion blogger Laureen Uy says there’s nothing wrong with sticking with the basics, as long as you wear the right accessories.

Choosing Your Accessories

Laureen handpicked a few accessories from Kultura and shared a few tips for CGs who want to up their style game. "These are some of the items I'd personally wear when I'm out," she says. "Since I'm not really a "girly" dresser, these pieces suit my style and personality." Opt for accessories in muted blues, reds, and pale gold colors. For days when you need to dress up a plain outfit, a bright shawl, a statement bag, or a graphic jacket will do the trick.

Where To Wear Them

Laureen says it doesn’t take a whole lot of effort to upgrade office clothes. "If you’re heading to an event from work, throw on a colorful jacket, switch from sneakers to heels, and pile on gold accessories to make your look more glam. You can style yourself in so many different ways!"
