Feel-Good Food

Food is my biggest weakness. It's the one thing I can't resist. Put a plate of buffalo wings with bleu cheese dressing and a hot, half-naked guy in front of me, and I'd probably pick the buffalo wings--then maybe have the hot, half-naked guy afterwards. All my friends know about my love for food, and they know to appease me with it whenever we have disagreements. Although that love has waned a bit since I lost a significant amount of weight, food is still the first thing I run to when I need a quick pick-me-up. Here's a list of my ultimate comfort foods:
Selecta Gold Series Vanilla Almond Ice Cream
This new discovery is one you can't miss. The Selecta Gold Series Vanilla Almond Ice Cream was created by Chef Ariel Manuel of Lolo Dad's fame. It's your old-time favorite vanilla ice cream made better by a caramel swirl and copious amounts of fresh almonds. I tried putting a spoonful of Lily's Peanut Butter on a whim and I thought I had died and gone to ice cream heaven when I tasted it. Since ice cream is the stereotypical post-breakup binge treat, then this flavor is your best bet in getting rid of the blues--dollop of peanut butter optional, but definitely recommended.

I once read before that what you were when you were 7 is what you’re likely to turn out to be when you’re a grownup.
Looking back, the things I did during playtime and countless afternoons were activities I eventually made careers out of.
