Ana Breaks Up With Her Lesbian Lover

Ana broke up with Tin the following night--or at least that was what she told me over the phone. In light of the past events, I had learned not to trust her. So I had Charlie confirm what Ana told me. The bartender recapped how Tin, Ana's lesbian lover, made a scene (that included two broken bottles of beer) at the bar when Ana ended their five-year romance.

"Want to watch it?" I asked, shaking the phone a little to infuriate her.

What Must I Do Now?

I never told anyone, not even my friends at work who were still hung up on the "accused-of-cheating" fiasco. If they knew what Charlie and I saw, all hell would break loose.

Maybe it was lucky that Sam was still trying to keep me away from Ana. Still, I crossed paths with Ana at Sam's restaurant and, well, what a good actress she would have made. It started to kill me how she could act as if I didn't just see her locking lips with a flat-chested girl at some bar in Metrowalk. It killed me more that Charlie and I were the only ones who knew her secret; killed me once more that Sam still thought I was the one to be tamed.
