We love wearing lipsticks, but we tend to forget (or forego) touch-ups. The lazy girl in you doesn't want to do it, and let's be honest: Who has time to go the restroom to retouch? Good thing there are hacks you can try to prolong your painted pout! See which one works best for you below:

1. Use a waterproof base.

To stay put, your lipstick should sit on a sturdy base like a waterproof lip liner. Use this pencil not just to line, but to also fill in your entire pout. Voila—your puckers are pasta-proof!

2. Polish right at the start.

Alternatively, buff a matte foundation on your lips, and then outline with a concealer pencil to make sure your lipstick doesn't bleed on the edges. This trick also brings out the pigment of your bullet really well!

3. Blot and layer.

After swiping on the first layer of lippie, blot with a tissue and apply lipstick again. Do this three times to keep your pout momol-proof!

4. Seal and protect.

Translucent powder can set anything with a creamy or liquid texture, so a light dusting in between coats of your lipstick will guarantee its color payoff all day.

5. Just use a long-lasting product! ;)

Make your life easier by putting on an industrial-strength, matte liquid lipstick. Its formula is built to last for hours sans retouch.
