1. Why don’t you wear makeup every day?
I don’t wear makeup every day because I’m usually just at home or at a cafe around the area and if I go out, it’s just for dinner with a friend or two. I put on makeup mostly on the weekends when I go out for dinner and drinks after.
2. What’s the most intimidating makeup product for you?
Eyeliner. I find it hard to control how much I want to put and where I’ll apply it as it can change my entire look.
3. What’s so scary about liquid eyeliner?
My hands tend to shake when I put eyeliner, so it’s a lot scarier if it’s liquid because it’ll be easier for me to mess up the makeup and then I’ll have to redo it. Also, since my eyes are kind of hooded, my eyes can look droopy if I don’t apply it correctly.
I also get worried when makeup artists grab the eyeliner because I feel like I should tell them the sort of look I want. My features are quite soft, and if you make the eyeliner too dark or shaped in a different way, I don't really recognize myself.
4. What's your eyeliner horror story?
My hands are not steady so I often make mistakes. It gets messy and then my eyes look tired after.
5. What happened when you used liquid eyeliner? How did it make you feel and look?
I made one mistake when I was applying, which is a good sign! I usually make two to three mistakes when I put on [liquid] eyeliner. I loved it. I felt accomplished! It made me want to go out tonight so it’s not a waste ;)
6. Would you wear it more often?
Definitely, yes!
7. Was Maybelline Hyperink easy to use? What do you like about it?
It’s easier to use compared to other liquid eyeliners because the tip was thin and the right length, [giving] me more control when I applied it. I also liked that the eyeliner was bold, but it wasn't too strong on me so I can wear it during the day and when I go out at night.

I've experienced doing makeup for theatre and events and I know the feeling of starting from scratch after one wrong stroke. Believe me, 'starting from scratch' is not easy if you're talking about theatre makeup!
5. What happened when you used liquid eyeliner? How did it make you feel and look?
The liquid liner seems to make the eyes stand out more. I was initially afraid that the liner would make me look different, but my friends liked how it looked and noted how it accentuated my features. It made me feel bolder.
6. Would you wear it more often?

1. Why don’t you wear makeup every day?
It's time-consuming especially when I'm running late for work. I prefer makeup that is easy to apply so I normally just go for a bold lip to make me look more awake.
2. What’s the most intimidating makeup product for you?
Eye makeup like shadow and liner. Most definitely eyeliner though! It's so hard to put on and it's scary to use because it's prone to mistakes.
3. What’s so scary about liquid eyeliner?
It's hard to make it perfect. Since it is liquid, it clings to the skin easily and is so hard to redo! Even the smallest mistake is also easily noticeable so you need to have the patience to do it all over again (and I never do). Even eyeliner with wands never worked for me.
4. What's your eyeliner horror story?
I remember several times I tried putting some eyeliner but I always end up with sore skin after removing it off and going through the whole process again. It's a nightmare.
5. What happened when you used liquid eyeliner? How did it make you feel and look?
I felt like I had no makeup on but in reality, it looked like I spent a lot of time doing my face. It felt great! Eyeliner made my eyes pop more and gave me a more defined look. I definitely felt more confident.
6. Would you wear it more often?
A big YES. Definitely going to put on eyeliner more often now.

The liner dries so fast so I was done in a few seconds. It glided easily and was really pigmented. One stroke was enough and yes, I didn't mess up!
