4 Mistakes You’re Making With Your Sunscreen

Like still not using one for every day.

You’re committing the worst beauty sin if you’re still not applying sunscreen every day. Here, four more sun protection mistakes you might be making and what to do about them:

1. You think “just a little” is enough.

When it comes to sunblock, never make tipid. Slather on a good amount of the sunblock lotion evenly on your skin to make sure you’re protected from the sun.

We recommend using Kojiesan Sunblock SPF69 PA+++ with UVB/UVA Broad Spectrum Protection. It contains Sunactyl®, an active ingredient that protects your skin from the damages caused by sun exposure. It’s also infused with shea butter, so it leaves your skin smooth and soft all day.

2. YOLO = You Only (Apply) Lotion Once.

Remember: reapply, reapply, and reapply! Your skin actively absorbs your sunblock’s ingredients, so it’s best to apply again and again to keep it protected throughout the day. The rule is to keep reapplying every 3 to 4 hours for optimum sun protection.

If you’re doing outdoor sports, we recommend Kojiesan Sunblock Sports SPF50 PA+++. It has marine derived ingredients to help restore your skin’s natural moisture, even as you sweat.

3. You think your foundation’s SPF is enough to protect your skin.

Sure, your two-in-one foundation makes your beauty rituals a little easier, but it doesn’t guarantee the best skin benefits. Your skin—especially your face—might not be getting the right amount of protection from the sun.

Add Kojiesan Sunblock Face SPF50 PA+++ for an extra layer of shield from sun spots, wrinkles, and early signs of aging. Make it your last step of skincare before you begin your makeup routine.

4. You only apply sunscreen when the sun is up.

Even during dark and rainy days, you need sunscreen. Just because the sun isn’t visible, doesn’t mean that there are no UV rays that are wreaking havoc on your skin. UV rays are invisible, and they can penetrate through haze and fog to cause sunburn and long-term skin damage.

Maintain your skin's bright glow and keep it protected with the new Kojiesan Sunscreen SPF55 PA+++ with Lightening.
