We’re sure you already know it, CGs, but it bears repeating: a good skincare routine not only ensures your skin remains in tip-top condition—it’s a form of self-care, too. And taking care of yourself from head to toe, inside and out, can even help you deal with stress and allow you to focus on yourself.

Do a calming activity to take your mind off things even just for a short while—read a chapter from that book you’re currently reading, do a breathing exercise, have a quick yoga sesh, take a hot shower, or watch an episode of your fave K-drama.

And before you hit the sack, don’t forget to give your skin some TLC. Here’s a 5-step skincare routine you can easily follow to help revive a dull, fatigued complexion.

Start by double cleansing your face. Using your fingers, massage an oil-based cleanser or cleansing balm on your skin in circular motions, then wipe it off with a cotton pad or rinse with warm water. Then, wash your face using a foaming facial wash like Pond's Age Miracle Facial Wash. Pat skin to dry.

Next, for a spa-like experience, treat your skin to a steam facial. Steaming loosens dirt in your pores and releases toxins from the skin. It promotes better absorption of skincare products into your skin, too.

Fill a bowl or basin with hot water and throw in some herbs that help detoxify skin like parsley, chamomile, or mint. Then, lean over and create a tent over your head using a towel to keep all the steam in. Do this for up to 10 minutes, then pat skin to dry.

To lift away any excess dirt and impurities from your skin, apply a few drops of toner on a cotton pad and gently wipe it all over your face and neck. Don’t skip this step—aside from removing dirt, toners also restore the skin’s pH balance after washing.

Pamper your skin even more with a facial mask. To revitalize dull and tired skin, look for masks that brighten—like Pond's Serum Mask—hydrate, and soothe. You can also go the DIY mask route using ingredients you might already have in your pantry like avocado, honey, yogurt, lemon juice, oatmeal, and more.

Wrinkles, eye bags, and dark circles can make your skin look even more tired and dull, so don't forget to lightly dab an anti-aging eye cream around your eyes to make them look more youthful. Then, apply a serum that nourishes and helps skin look more youthful, like Pond's Age Miracle Ultimate Youth Essence.

For the final step, lock in the goodness of all the products you’ve applied on your skin by applying the right moisturizer for your skin type. To help revive dull skin, choose one that promotes anti-aging, like Pond's Age Miracle Anti-Aging Night Cream. For daytime use, opt for a day cream with SPF to protect your skin from UV rays.
