Gerald Anderson And Julia Barretto Dish Out Relationship Tips To Vlogger Friend

Gerald Anderson and Julia Barretto recently sat down with vlogger Dave Dalisay as they gave relationship advice and shared their thoughts on celebrities being scrutinized on social media.

In the vlog uploaded on September 4, Dave, who's been a long-time friend of Gerald since 2012, asked the celebrity couple their thoughts on being judged on social media and real life. Julia answered, "You're right, social media is different from real life so be you!"

Dave, who's part of the LGBTQ+ community, talked about his experience of receiving judgments, especially when it comes to his relationship. 

"Pero 'di lang naman sa sexuality, personality, preference mo," Gerald added. "Kahit masaya ka sa buhay mo o malungkot ka sa buhay mo, laging may masasabi. Human nature natin talaga."

Dave said, "Sa love life, sa pag-ibig, yung pinagdadaanan natin, hindi talaga nila alam."

To this, Gerald commented, "Lahat naman tayo may karapatan sa opinyon natin. At maraming tao na laging may opinyon tungkol sa ibang tao, tungkol sa ibang bagay. Pero dapat hanggang doon lang."

The actor added, "Kumbaga, kung gusto niyang mamuhay sa ganoong paraan, o kung ano, choice niya 'yan. Wala tayong karapatan makialam… Maraming perfect sa mundo, maraming feeling perfect."

Gerald, who's dated several high-profile actresses in Philippine showbiz, confirmed in March that he's in a relationship with Julia. In a recent interview in August, Gerald said that if he had it his way, he'd marry Julia and that she is "the one."
